» About Us

At Dynamic Therapeutic Services we provide a range of services to children and their families. In addition to specializing in speech, occupational and physical therapy we provide various other special education programs. Our special education teachers are trained and experienced in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Broadly speaking, ABA is a systematic approach to teaching where a learner's needs are identified and then targeted to be worked on using a behavioral approach. Because we understand that language is the primary area that is usually targeted, we use an ABA approach called Verbal Behavior.

Our early intervention ABA/Verbal Behavior teams are extremely successful in bringing about the language skills most often requested by families. We teach children the ability to request what they want to let others know what they want. We also teach parents how to set up situations to make this happen.

Parents are a key component on the ABA team. Our teachers and therapists work with parents to build an understanding of the principles of ABA and the ability to carry over the techniques into daily routines such as: mealtime, bath time, playtime and interactions with siblings and peers.

Our teams are run by Team Leaders who have advanced experience and training in autism and the principles of applies behavior analysis. Our team leaders show families how to access their child's present skill level and how to develop target skills. They are sensitive to each family's individual needs and scheduling issues.

There is a lot to consider when looking into ABA programs. At Dynamic Therapeutic Services we have a large group of families who are currently receiving ABA services and an even larger group who have already been through Early Intervention and now receive services as their children are preschool age.
